About Alex

Hi Friend!

If you landed on this page, you’re probably wondering, who are you? Well, the short answer is that I’m…

an admirer of all the pretty things,

a young wife,

a mama to two littles,

a lover of Jesus, and

a blogger about all of the above

But let’s get more personal – my name is Alex. ♥

This blog is dedicated to things I love, motherhood and family life, and Jesus. Welcome to Heart, Home and Hope!

I’m a 24 year old wife to my amazing Hubby and stay-at-home mama to Little B (my sweet toddler) and a (newer) Little Man! I’m trying to learn these roles with excellence and grace. (Though truth-be-told, I seem to often lack in both!) I’ve been married for 3 years, Little B is 2, and Little Man was born in December (2016)!

I’ve known the Lord ever since I was a little girl, but I am constantly growing in my faith and walk with Him. The Christian walk is constant movement. I find that I am either pressing after the Lord or being drawn further away by the pull of the world. No treading water here!

My goal with this blog is to write about a few topics that really matter to me –

  1. My Heart: Things that I love
  2. My Home: Motherhood and family life
  3. My Hope: Jesus, the anchor of my soul

Prayerfully, these pages and posts will bless others.

This blog is dedicated to things I love, motherhood and family life, and Jesus. Welcome to Heart, Home and Hope!

For a while now, I’ve been wrestling with the idea of writing. Because, let’s be real… talk is cheap. Perhaps what I have to add is of minimal importance to anyone or anything? But perhaps the things I write can help someone. Perhaps God can touch a heart. If He does, it will be worth it, because His words are weighty. They are the only ones that really matter…

His words penetrate. His words are able to change a heart. His words are relevant today and every day. His words never fail.

And His words are these words:

These words are worthy of being talked about and written about. Whether my blog posts are about Jesus or motherhood or even something completely random, may they always be seasoned with love, mercy, and grace.

So girlfriend, grab some coffee, and let’s talk and let’s write and let’s encourage one another with His words and in the spirit of His heart.

PS – If you are looking to collaborate, I’m all ears! Please contact me and I will send you my personal media kit. I love to partner with small business that share my values and that will interest my readers! Let’s dialogue more!
